SD (Playnorthstar.com)- Valley City State senior Colby Lum has been named the North Star Athletic Association Football Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office has announced.

The ninth edition of the Dacotah Bank/North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Football Players-of-the-Week was announced by the conference office Monday.  Colby Lum of Valley City State (N.D.) was selected as Offensive Player-of-the-Week.  Caleb Ellingson of Jamestown (N.D.) was chosen as Defensive Player-of-the-Week.  Dylan Skabo of Dickinson State (N.D.) was named as Special Teams Player-of-the-Week.

NSAA Football Offensive Player of the Week
Colby Lum – Valley City State (N.D.) – 5’9″ – 180 lbs., Senior – wide receiver – Mililani, Hawaii – Lum set the tone early in Valley City State’s (N.D.) 28-7 victory over Presentation (S.D.).  He caught four passes for a total of 125 yards with a touchdown.  Lum caught a 63-yard touchdown on just the second play of the game. 

Valley City State (5-3, 4-1 NSAA) closes conference play Saturday, Oct. 29, with a 1 p.m. game at the University of Jamestown. Presentation College (5-2, 1-2 NSAA) hosts Waldorf University at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
