N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Carrington residents, NDDOT officials and city dignitaries were present Wednesday for the ribbon cutting ceremony of the brand new roundabout on Highway 200 and US 52.

The $3 million dollar project wrapped up construction prior to the ribbon cutting ceremony. NDDOT Director Grant Levi, Mayor Neil Fandrich and several other state and local officials spoke during the presentation. Mayor Fandrich talked with KDAK’s Greg Grenz following the ceremony.

Mayor Fandrich said a main thing residents need to remember is to yield to their right when in or entering the roundabout. He also reports that the Carrington Garden Club will be planting over 3,000 flowers in the middle and on the edges of the new roundabout next Spring.
