JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Regional Airport has hit the 10,000th passenger milestone.

Jamestown Regional Airport Manager Samuel Seafeldt reports that the 10,000th passenger boarded a flight Wednesday morning. Cameron Todd, a student at the University of Jamestown, became the milestone passenger when he boarded for a flight to New York to visit family for Thanksgiving.

Seafeldt stated earlier this month that the 10,000th passenger would open doors to more funding for the airport in the future.

Cameron Todd received a gift bag and other travel necessities for becoming the 10,000th passenger in 2016. He also received a voucher for 2 round-trips from Jamestown to Denver on United Express.

SkyWest Airlines has been operating in Jamestown since June 2014.
