N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Bismark National Weather Service reports that a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for parts of Central and Eastern North Dakota.

Other parts of the area will see a winter storm warning according to Meteorologist Jeff Schild. Schild says the Jamestown area could have a potential for 2 to 5 inches of snow by the end of today.

Schild says the Carrington and Harvey areas have a potential for 6 to 8 inches of snow. The low-pressure system is also bringing colder temperatures and strong winds.

Windchill’s of 20 to 25 below are being reported for Tuesday through Thursday. Motorists are encouraged to drive for the conditions and prepare themselves an emergency kit when traveling.
