The city of Valley City started their snow removal process in the northwest portion of the city and will work clockwise to the northeast section then to the southeast and wrap up in the southwestern section of the city.
Public works director Jeff Differding says crews started to pickup Tuesdays garbage shortly after 7am today and will do Wednesday’s route today and wrap up both days with the Thursday regular pickup.
City Administrator David Schelkoph says the Tuesday city commission finance and regular meeting will be held today Wednesday, December 7th.
Schelkoph says the finance meeting will start at 5pm and the regular city commission meeting will be held starting at 6pm tonight. Both meetings will be held in the city commission chamber today.
