CITY, N.D. – (NewsDakota.com) The American Legion Club in Valley City will not be closing, but there are a few changes that will be made and some are already in place.

Legion Club commander Lowell Peterson says the legion club will remain intact and continue to operate and recruit new members. Ryan Leroux and Jerry Bennefeld are investing their money in the club.

No changes will be made to the first half of the bar but patrons will see several new television screens including a huge big screen to watch sporting events in the back of the bar. New flooring an additional seating have also been added to the American Legion Club.
