N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Annie Jarrett-Keffeler never dreamed she would be a writer.

But on Thanksgiving, she published her first book Duncan’s Christmas Cat’astrophe.

Keffeler stated that she actually stopped writing before publishing the children’s book.

Keffeler says the story focuses on their family pet Duncan.

The book also features a word find, crossword puzzle, and maze. Keffeler says she plans on writing more books in the future.

She will be at Dr. Dawn’s Pet Stop on Thursday, December 22nd from 2 to 5 PM to sign and sell books. Annie and her husband, Ryan, live in rural North Dakota on 17 acres with several animals.
