N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  The long time running Bismarck Rotary Wrestling Tourney took place last Friday and Saturday at the Bismarck Events Center.  A total of 32 teams competed at the Tourney during the two day event.  The Cardinals of Carrington finished in 23rd place with 47.5 points.  Pierre, South Dakota won it, followed by Sturgis in second, Bismarck Century in third place, Bismarck High in fourth and rounding out the top five, Minot.  Napoleon Imperials finished in 17th place.  

Sophomore Kaden Wolsky of Carrington, was the only Varsity wrestler to place.  Wolsky was seeded sixth going into the tourney and that is where he finished in sixth place, going 4-3 at the tourney, his current record is 23-9.

Next up for Carrington, will be this Friday and Saturday, January 13th & 14th at the Rugby Tourney.  Teams competing will be Burke Central, Carrington, Central Cass, Century, Devils Lake, Des Lacs Burlington, Grafton, Pembina Co, Harvey, Kenmare, Killdeer, Linton, Bishop Ryan, Mon-Dak, Napoleon, New Salem, New Town, Rolla, Stanley, Velva, Turtle Mountain HS, Williams Co and Rugby.  AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com will provided coverage of the Carrington Wrestlers starting about 3:30pm on Friday and 10am on Saturday.
