N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Salvation Army has announced they were short of their Red Kettle Campaign goal by roughly ,000 this year.

Major Tim Nauta reported in December that the goal for the year was $157,000, which would all go towards operating expenses and programs. Nauta reported in December that if they were unable to make their goal, they would need to look at cutting their programs and services.

Reports say services for 2017 may be cut by as much as one-third.
