N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  The Cardinals had three players in double figures, including Sophomore Drew Page scoring 12 points off the bench to help the Cardinals pick up a District 5 victory over Barnes County North on Friday night, 73-42.  Carrington improves to 2-0 and 11-0 overall, BCN drops to 1-2 and 3-8 overall. 

Junior Point Guard Garrett Bickett led all scorers with 20 points, he is averaging 19 per game so far this season.  Senior Bryce Edland had 12 points as well.  Freshman Colby Bruner and Junior Allen Contreras had 12 points each to lead the way for the Bison.

Next up for Carrington will be on Tuesday, January 24th at Minnewaukan against No. 1 and defending Class B Champs, Four Winds/Minnewaukan.  Pregame can be heard around 7pm on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com, tipoff at 7:30pm.

Right now, both the Cardinals girls and boys basketball teams are undefeated and ranked in the State of North Dakota in Class B Basketball.  The girls are 12-0, the boys are 11-0.

The No. 4 Lady Cardinals will also be in action on Tuesday, January 24th against RV Lamoure/LM for a District 5 matchup in LaMoure.  The game will be broadcast on TED FM 98.3/102.7 and newsdakota.com, starting about 6:30pm pregame.
