N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – In light of the recently fallen officer Deputy Colt Allery, several communities will come together Sunday in order to remember him and other officers who have been killed in action.

“Everyone in the state is meeting in their respective towns at 1 PM Sunday,” stated Liz Kapp, organizer for the Jamestown area.

“A cop friend from Bismarck is starting the support rallies all over the state and asked me to start one in Jamestown,” Kapp explained. “[We will] just stand and show support for Officer Allery who was just killed in Rolette County and for others.”

Residents are asked to show support by being there, holding signs and flags to remember those who have died.

Kapp says the community is encouraged to attend their local events. Jamestown’s will be held on the sidewalk near Hugo’s on Main Street Jamestown at 1 PM.
