N.D. (NewsDaakota.com) –  University of Jamestown will be hosting a piano recital featuring Dr. Geraldine Ong on February 3rd at 7:30 p.m.

Geraldine earned a Doctor of Musical Arts from University of Houston Moores School of Music.  In 2011-2013, Ong was selected as a Da Camera of Houston Young Artist, a fellowship program for emerging professional instrumentalists, singers and composers. Geraldine currently serves as Assistant Professor of Piano at Valley City State University.

Dr. Ong teaches applied piano, class piano, piano pedagogy, and music theory. Dr. Ong has toured in France, Vietnam, Malaysia and China, and will be performing pieces by Beethoven, Chopin, Ravel and Scarlatti in Reiland Fine Arts Center’s DeNault Auditorium.
