N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is warning residents of a new High Risk Registered Sex Offender living in Jamestown.

Darren Michael Weber, 42, lives at 2605 Circle Dr (ND State Hospital Transitional Home). He has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee, Office of the Attorney General.

Weber was convicted of Gross Sexual Imposition in 1999 when he had intercourse with a 14 year-old girl while a friend of his had intercourse with her 17 year-old sister next to him.

Mr. Weber is not currently wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This police notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community. Any attempt to use the information provided to threaten, harass or intimidate the offender will result in prosecution.
