N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 21st Annual Stutsman County Relay for Life is gearing up with their kick-off set on February 21st.

Relay for Life is an event held nationwide and the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. The event inspires communities to come together to remember loved ones lost, honor survivors of all cancers, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society make a global impact on cancer.

The kick-off is the first of four team meetings for Stutsman County.

Josh Knutson is a member of the Planning Committee for Stutsman County Relay for Life.

Knutson pointed out that to register a team, it doesn’t cost anything. To get a t-shirt, teams must raise at least $100. The official relay is scheduled for June 9th at the University of Jamestown track. The event’s theme will be Disney. More details will be released closer to the event.
