Jamestown Fire Department Run Report

 

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has released their run report for the days between February 2nd and February 15th.

Jamestown Fire Chief Jim Reuther released the numbers and details of each call for that time period. So far, there have been 42 calls for service in 2017. The department responded to 290 total calls in 2016.

Below is a full report of each call including dates, times and descriptions:

Call No. 34 February 3rd, 8:16PM, ready squad responded to 2404 Circle Drive, NDSH-Tompkins Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-steam set the fire alarm off. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 35 minutes.

Call No. 35 February 4th, 9:52AM, ready squad responded to 2404 Circle Drive, NDSH-Tompkins Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-cooking. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 35 minutes.

Call No. 36 February 5th, 12:07PM, ready squad responded to 2404 Circle Drive, NDSH-Tompkins Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-steam set the fire alarm off. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 30 minutes.

Call No. 37 February 6th, 10:50AM, ready squad responded to 2501 Circle Drive, NDSH-New Horizon Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-unknown. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 25 minutes.

Call No. 38 February 7th, 3:08PM, ready squad responded to 1517 Gardenette Drive, Multi Family Dwelling, to investigate odor smell. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-possible sewer gas. Time out 20 minutes.

Call No. 39 February 13th, 5:20PM, ready squad responded to 1104 25th St SW, Edgewood Living Center, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-burnt food. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 25 minutes.

Call No. 40 February 13th, 6:06PM, ready squad responded to 319 5th St NE, Lincoln Grade School, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-accidental alarm activation. Fire was reset. Time out 15 minutes.

Call No. 41 February 13th, 7:38PM, ready squad responded to 5855 3rd St SE, Cavendish Farms, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-steam from fryers. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 20 minutes.

Call No. 42 February 14th, 8:13AM, ready squad responded to 1022 8th Ave SE, Single Family Dwelling, at the request of city police to check air quality in the structure. Time out 30 minutes.
