(NewsDakota.com) The 2017 North Dakota Class B Region III girls basketball tournament starts Monday at the Jamestown Civic Center.

Opening round play starts with the District 6 Champions from Medina-Pingree/Buchanan meeting the number four seed from District 5, Oakes, at 3 p.m.

The second game Monday sees the second seed from District 5 Edgeley-Kulm-Montpeiler meet the three seed from District 6, Napoleon-Gackle/Streeter, at around 4:30.

At about 6 p.m., the District 5 champs from Carrington face off against South Border, the number four seed out of District 6.

Monday’s play concludes with a game around 7:30 between Kidder County, representing District 6 as the number two seed, against the three seed from District 5, LaMoure-Litchville/Marion.
