CITY (NewsDakota.com)- Grand Forks Central avoided another winless season with a 2nd half rally Tuesday against Valley City. The Knights overcame a 13 point deficit to beat The Hi-Liners 71-63. Valley City held the lead up until the 7:22 mark of the final half when Branson Delorme hit a game tying 3 pointer to bring the score to 45-45. Less then a minute later GF Central took the lead  and would not surrender it the rest of the night. 

Nate Rodriguez led all scorers with 30 points, Riley Miller and Drew Oberlander both scored 9. The Knights had 5 in double figures. Jamil Suleiman collected 18 points. Aaron Knutson scored 14 second half points to finish the night with 16. Central finishes their regular season 1-20 and 1-19 in The EDC. The will play a road conference play in game Saturday. Valley City falls to 5-15 and 3-15.They play their final game of the season Thursday at home against Fargo South then travel to South for an EDC play in game Saturday.
