N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The House has passed what was dubbed the “Constitutional Carry” bill, allowing people to carry concealed weapons without a permit.

The measure requires someone to have had a driver’s licenses for at least a year, and requires a driver with a gun to tell law enforcement about that gun during a traffic stop.

Cando Representative Greg Westlind spoke against the bill.

The measure passed 83 to 9. It will now be considered in the Senate.
