(NewsDakota.com) – The Western Dakota Association basketball tournaments will being at the Bismarck Event Center on March 2nd. The Jamestown High girls locked up their spot in the tournament on Saturday with a win over Dickinson to secure the sixth seed.

The boys will have to play St. Mary’s on Saturday afternoon to try to steal the No. 7 seed. The Saints swept the Jays in the season series quite convincingly. They won in the Capital City back in December, 77-51 and then in Jamestown, 75-52.

If Jamestown can beat St. Mary’s, they will play second-seeded Dickinson on March 2nd at 6:30pm in the main arena of the BEC. The girls will play Mandan in the opening round at 7:15pm in the Exhibit Hall.
