(NDSAANow.com)- In the 85-year history of the North Dakota High School Activities Association’s Class B boys basketball state tournament there may not have been a more thrilling finish than the 2017 title game played on Saturday, March 18 at the Minot State Dome.

Hillsboro-Central Valley defeated defending state champion Four Winds Minnewaukan 63-60 courtesy of a buzzer-beater 3-pointer made by senior guard Kyle Henningsgard as time expired.

Henningsgard scored 15 points to lead the Burros.

The title game was a rematch of a regular season meeting between the two teams that Hillsboro-Central Valley won 68-63 on January 13.

Four Winds-Minnewaukan was led by Tronis McKay, who scored 21 points.

CHAMPIONSHIP: Hillsboro/Central Valley 63, Four Winds/Minnewaukan 60

THIRD PLACE: Ellendale 78, Fargo Oak Grove 61

FIFTH PLACE: Dickinson Trinity 49, Minot Bishop Ryan 45

SEVENTH PLACE: Stanley 64, Turtle Lake-Mercer/McClusky 48
