CITY (NewsDakota.com)- 6th grader Broden Muske and 4th grader Koltyn Grebel will both represent the state of North Dakota at the National Elementary wrestling Heartland Dual Championships in April at Council Bluffs Iowa.

North Dakota will be taking two teams to the event.  Both boys qualified in their respective weight classes by placing in the top two. Competition was open to all wrestlers in grades K–6 grades and was held in Mandan last Friday, March 17th.

Grebel, who qualified last year and competed on the second team, placed first at the 65 pound division and will be on the first team.  Muske fell just short in overtime of his championship match at 120 pounds and will participate on the state’s second team.

5th grader Ethan Miller and 6th grader Koye Grebel both placed third in the event in their weight classes, just one place short of qualifying.
