CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Here are the highlights from the 2017 Junior Cattle Heifer and Steer Show held during the 80th Annual North Dakota Winter Show in Valley City on March 5th.
Once again thanks to all of the people and their animals who participated in the 2017 show in Valley City.
- Lynsey Schmitz of Oakes, ND, showing her Angus heifer, won the breed champion and overall reserve champion of all breeds.
- Austin George of Mondovi, WI, showing his Charolais heifer, won the breed champion.
- Madelyn Miller, of Bismarck, ND, showed her Red Angus heifer, and won that breed champion.
Other winners not pictures include: Damon of LJL Cattle Co., of Woodville, WI, showed his Mainetainer heifer who won breed champion. No photo.
Kendra Myers, of Kathryn, ND, showed her Sim-Influenced heifer who won breed champion. No photo.
Abbey Schaefer, of Des Lacs, ND, showed her Commercial heifer who won breed champion. No photo.
- Gavin Miller, of Bismarck, ND, showed his Commercial heifer, who won the Reserve breed champion.
