Schepp, 71, Jamestown, ND died early Monday morning, March 20, 2017 at his home in Jamestown under hospice.

Myron Schepp was born October 9, 1945 at Bottineau, ND, the son of Alvin Schepp and Bernice (Ihla) Schepp. He received his elementary education in the Newburg area, graduating from the Newburg High School in 1963. He entered the US Army January 13, 1966 at Fargo, ND. He served in Vietnam from January 1966 to January of 1968. He was discharged January 6, 1968 at Ft. Lewis, WA with the rank of SP-4 (T).

He and Pam Cumber were married October 30, 1981. He worked for various trucking companies as a driver. He started working for Mayer Truck Line in 1999. He and Pam were remarried September 22, 2000. He continued to drive for Mayer until 2006 when he retired.

Surviving are his wife, Pam, Jamestown, ND; his sons, David (Lisa) Schepp, Lawrence, KS and Matthew Rudnick, Jamestown, ND; and 4 grandchildren; also surviving are 1 son and 2 daughters from a previous marriage: Lavern (Coleen) Schepp, Mesa, AZ, Loralan (Mick) Siefert, New Braunfels, TX, Terry Schepp, Vergas, MN, and Marlene Solberg, Williston, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother-in-law, Bruce, 2 nieces, Heather and Monica, and his mother-in-law, Marlene Cumber.

A Celebration of Life will take place this summer in Newburg, ND.

Burial will take place at a later date in the ND Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND.

Arrangements are by the Haut Funeral Homes, Jamestown, ND.
