CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The following is a news release issued by Valley City Mayor Dave Carlsrud.

In the news release Carlsrud said, C.S. Hagen’s interview with Russell J Myhre and the subsequent article that was printed in the High Plains Reader and also appearing on Facebook are of Russ’ own words and independent of the City of Valley City. He was acting on his own behalf and not under the professional direction as City Attorney.

The tasteless image that was shown in the article does not reflect the views of the City Commission, City of Valley City and its employees.
