(NewsDakota.com) The defending North Dakota State Class B Girls Golf Champion represented her town, school and state with distinction over the weekend, competing in the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia Sunday morning.

Emily St. Aubin of Ashley, an eighth grader at South Border, was one of 80 7-15 year olds, nationwide and from Canada, who competed Sunday at the home of The Masters. She was one of 10 in her division; girls 13-14 years old, and qualified for this year’s event after advancing from local, subregional and regional competitions in Bismarck, Moorhead and Chaska, Minnesota.

St. Aubin ended up finishing 10th Sunday with a total of five points; three points in driving, and a point each in chipping and putting. Savannah Grewal from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada won the division with 23 points.

St. Aubin won the State B Golf Championship as an seventh grader in 2016 by five shots.
