N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is warning Jamestown residents regarding a new convicted sex offender who is living within the city.

Michael Mills McClary, 53, is now residing 1610 Business Loop East #15 at the Starlite Motel. He has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee. He was convicted of Sexual Assault in 1997 in the Province of Saskatchewan. He was also convicted of Gross Sexual Imposition in Nelson county in 2012.

McClary is not wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. The information is not meant to be used to threaten, assault or intimidate the offender. Attempts to do so to the offenders or their families, landlords or employees will be turned over for prosecution.
