N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown City Fire Department was called to the report of a home fire Thursday morning.

Jamestown Fire Chief Jim Reuther reports that crews were called out at around 8 AM after the call was received. He stated that the fire was reportedly coming from the stove of the home.

Reuther said crews extracted smoke from the home and checked for carbon monoxide after removing the item from the stove.  Two trucks and 23 firefighters were on scene during the incident.
