N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Four University of Jamestown students and three professors will be packing their bags and books for an overseas Travel Abroad course in Italy.

Typically, Travel Abroad programs have students travel overseas and receive and education from local educators of that specific country. This study abroad program will be different according to University Junior Emma Thompson.

Thompson spent her spring break in Cagli, Italy, scouting the area for the students and staff beforehand.

One of the students participating in the trip is Sophomore Alexis Young. She says the three professors will use real world scenarios in Italy to teach the students.

Thompson says that the program will continue next year and she hopes it’ll expand to include other areas around the world.

The cost of the trip will be around $3,800 for students.
