CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City Fire Fighters had a busy April 13th. The fire whistle blew just before midnight and it wasn’t a tornado or a dam break.

Assistant Fire Chief Ron Burchill said a home burned in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue Northwest in Valley City.

Then around 4 o’clock on April 13th rural fire fighters responded to a cabin fire along Lake Ashtabula. Burchill said the fire spread to an abandoned trailer home. He said no injuries were reported in either of these fires.

And Fire and Rescue crews were also called to an accident near Wimbledon shortly after 9am on April 13th. A woman was seriously injured in the crash.
