CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Three area churches are sponsoring Christian singer Peder Eide who will be in concert April 26th in Valley City.

The singer song writer is an engaging and humorous artist. The community is invited to attend this concert, great for all ages at the Hi Liner Activity Center in Valley City.

The proceeds from the Peder Eide concert will go to furnish the new chapel at the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City.

Tickets are $10 and available at the door or at Faith, Our Saviour’s and Trinity Lutheran Churches in Valley City.

During an Voice of the Valley interview Eide talked about the concert and his background as a singer and songwriter.

Some more background about Peder Eide: He has led Christ-centered praise and worship for youth conferences, festivals, camps, churches and other venues teenagers have gathered. Eide talked about how his spiritual blessings have shaped his life and allowed him to help other families grow spiritually as well.

Eide said, “My vision is to encourage their connection with Jesus while at the same time helping them to engage with one another. I want to help families worship. As an active artist/spokesperson for Compassion International, Eide is humbled to have seen hundreds of third world children sponsored through his ministry. He has also experienced the joy of his own family sponsoring many children. He along with his wife Sherri, have further invested in the needs of children by internationally adopting two kids of their own, Makenzie and Teshome. Combined with their three biological children of Taylor, Allison, and Ethan, the Eide’s have uniquely tasted worship together and have truly seen the goodness of the Lord.”
