N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Spring is well underway for the area and Game & Fish Biologist Doug Leier is encouraging people to get out and enjoy the outdoors.

During the weekly talk with JD on Big Dog 95.5, Leier talked about warmer temperatures making it ideal for anglers to dust off the tackle box and bring out the fishing poles.

Leier says the shore fishing is ideal for this time of the year. As far as state hunting goes, spring Turkey season is well underway. He says hunters and hikers/walkers should also be aware of the ticks.

Catch Doug Leier with JD in the Morning on Big Dog 95.5 FM every Thursday at 7:20 AM.
