S.D. (PlayNorthStar.com)- Valley City State sophomore Kadie Anderson was named the NSAA Softball Player of the Week on Monday after helping the Vikings to four wins this weekend. She helped lead her team to a 4 game sweep of Dakota State University which secured The Vikings a spot in The NSAA Postseason Tournament.

Kadie Anderson – Valley City State (N.D.) – 5’5″ – Sophomore – Infielder – Jamestown, N.D. – Anderson batted .583 as Valley City State (N.D.) went 4-0 record with a sweep at Dakota State (S.D.).  She scored eight runs and had two doubles and drove in three runs.  For the week, Anderson recorded a slugging percentage of .750 (two doubles) and an on-base percentage of .667.  She was 7-of-12 at the plate, walked twice and swiped one base.
