CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Valley City Area Chamber of Commerce held a meet and greet for Valley City Commission Candidate Ross Powell on May 16th.

During the event, Powell talked about the importance of listening to the concerns of Valley City residents. He also talked about his vision for the city if he’s elected.

Powell is the only candidate on the ballot for the May 23 special election in Valley City. If elected, Powell would fill out the remaining three year term of former city commission Rick Ross.

About twenty-five people attended the event on May 16th in the Hi Liner Activity Center in Valley City.
