N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A former Jametown student has graduated with the highest honors from North Dakota State University.

On May 13th, Kendra Beedy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at NDSU while obtaining the highest academic honor of Summa Cum Laude (with highest honor) with a 4.0 GPA during her studies at Sanford Health in Bismarck.

In November of 2016, Kendra was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Organization (Nursing National Honor Society). 

According to Columbia College, no more than 5 percent of Bachelor of Arts graduates do so Summa Cum Laude.

Kendra has accepted a position with the Sanford Hospital in Bismarck in the Rapid Evaluation Unit.
