N.D. (NewsDakota.com) On Sunday morning May 21st, a North Dakota State Trooper stopped a vehicle for speeding in a 60 mph zone on I-94 in Morton County.

The Highway Patrol says a Chevrolet Avalanche had two occupants, a male driver and male passenger. The trooper observed indications of criminal activity.

A search of the vehicle revealed 59 pounds of marijuana, much of it individually bagged, along with several plants and $1,399 in cash. The men were taken into custody with several charges pending against them. The vehicle was impounded.
