Wednesday night the VCHS Trap Shooting Team hosted a Trap Shooting Fun Night. The festivities included a Annie Oakley shoot for the Valley City Trap Shooting Team, door prizes, White clay target prizes and great food and refreshments. The event was attended by team members, parents and Superintendent Josh Johnson, Junior High Principle Dan Larson, Valley City High School Principal Kristi Brandt! The VCHS Trap Team will be competing in the North Dakota State Tournament June 17 in Horace, ND.  The VCHS Trap Team has forty two student members and is lead by Coach Trevar Hansen.

 Coach Hansen expressed great appreciation for the support the team receives from the many Volunteers, Clubs and Businesses, including: The Barnes Country Wildlife Club, Northwestern Industries, Valley Meat, Pizza Corner, Delta Waterfowl, ND Game and Fish, North Dakota Wildlife Federation, and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and many more.

 The Valley City Trap Club holds open and league shooting every Tuesday night.
