The tournament coincides with free fishing weekend in North Dakota, where residents and individuals do not need a license to fish. Kay Herrick is with the Dakota Anglers.

Teams will consist of one adult and one child on Saturday, June 3rd. Herrick reports that registration will take place from 8 to 10 AM at Joos Grove and the tournament will commence shortly after.

There will be prizes for each age class, largest rough fish and Dakota Anglers traveling trophies for the highest Dakota Anglers member in each age class.

A free lunch will be served following the tournament with awards being distributed as well. Herrick pointed out that last year, they had over 90 kids participate in the fishing tournament.
