CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Valley City Commission approved of a request by Dave Zubrod to have his properties along west main rezoned from a B-1 to a B-2 business zone.

His attorney Joseph Turman said the request was made to match the zoning ordinance of current businesses along Main Street in Valley City.

Zubrod told the commission he wanted to do this being a construction company is going to purchase his property, located in the former Car Quest building.

The city commission approved of the request following the public hearing on June 6th during their regular board meeting.

Zubrod told the commission that pizzas have not been manufactured at the Valley City factory since December 23rd of 2016.
