N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Rods, Hogs, and Things That Go VROOM was created 3 years ago by the Jamestown Downtown Association to fill in for Crazy Days.

The show is slated to be one day only on June 10th in Jamestown. JDA President Lynn Lambrecht says they first started the new event because there weren’t enough downtown businesses for their Crazy Days.

Lambrecht says the event was dreamed up by Brian Kamlitz, who calls Jamestown the unofficial “Motorsports Capital of North Dakota”. With over 13 different clubs focused on different Motorsports, each class is expected to represented during the 3rd annual event.

Several events are planned including a new balance beam contest, performances by the Top of the Stairs dance group, live music from Old Friends and much more.

The event starts with registration at 11 AM and begins at 1 PM. Lambrecht invited anyone who wanted to show off their prized motor possession to join in the day’s festivities.
