CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Valley City High School Reunion marching band and Flag Corps honored their former band leader Robert Bowen during the annual Rally in the Valley parade in Valley City.

85 Hi Liner band members who graduated in the 1970’s 1980’s and 1990’s under the director of Robert Bowen saluted Bob in front of the High School during the Rally in the Valley parade on June 17th.

Co-event coordinators Renae Martin and Doreen Ryan and so many other band members remember Robert Bowen as very professional. They all said he had a special way of motivating band members to be the best and to march straight as an arrow.

The Alumni Band captured a few more moments with Bob Bowen, sharing memories. He thanked all 85 former band members for their tribute to him after the parade.
