N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Bismarck National Weather Service reports the potential for severe storms this evening in the James River Valley.

According to the report, storms are expected to cross in from Canada into the eastern and southeastern portions of North Dakota. Graphs show Minot, Harvey, Carrington, Jamestown, Lisbon and further east to be in the paths of potential severe weather. Large hail to quarter size and damaging winds in excess of 65 mph are estimated.

The NWS reminds individuals to stay alert and be on the look out for dangerous weather.
