N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It’s a time that all 4-Hers spend their time preparing for.

It’s County Fair time.

With 11 clubs in Stutsman County, The Stutsman County Fair boasts some of the best exhibits and livestock in the state. Robin Barnes, 4-H Program Coordinator with NDSU Stutsman County Extension, says the 4-Hers have been preparing for this time all year. Barnes pointed out that a lot of prep work goes into the few days before the fair kicks off.

Barnes highlighted some of the work the 4-Hers do before they open it up to the public.

Other things for the 4-Hers through the week include demonstrations, showmanship, interviews and more. Be sure when you’re checking exhibits at this year’s fair, appreciate what the youth has done and what it took to get there.

The 120th Annual Stutsman County fair will be held June 28th though July 1st.
