Lang, age 77, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on December 9, 2016 in Mesa, AZ.

Norman was born in Jamestown to Edwin & Barbara (Miller) Lang on November 28, 1939.  He grew up on the family farm southeast of Streeter, ND, where he enjoyed duck hunting and went to school. He graduated from Streeter High School.  Norman attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND.

In 1961, Norman married Tabitha Diede.  Norman and Tabitha owned and operated Rolling Wheels Roller Rink in Streeter, North Dakota.  Norman served in the US Army from 1961 to 1963.  He worked as a bus driver for Greyhound Bus Line for 27 years.

He volunteered for the Boy Scouts of America, attended LIVINGWORD Bible Church and passionately participated in numerous billiard leagues.

Norman is preceded in death by his parents Edwin Lang and Barbara Lang and 1 brother, Kenneth Lang.

Norman is survived by the mother of his children, Tabitha Lang; son Lyle and wife Lori Lang; daughter Christina and husband Chris Johnson; grandchildren Maddie, Alex and Olivia Lang; sister, Marlys Lang-Banks and husband Billy Banks; nephews Austin Lang and Kievin Odero; niece Shawna Andersen; and grandnephews Karter Lang and Bodee Lang.

Memorial Service – 1:00 PM Saturday, June 24, 2017, Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Gackle, ND

Burial – Miller Cemetery, southwest of Streeter, ND
