CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City Public Schools thanked the Hi Liner Class of 1967 for their ,300 donation. Below is a letter that was given to the School District earlier this month.

Dear Friends, Thank you for allowing members of our reunion group to inspect our old school.

Enclosed is a check to VCHS for $1300, our gift to the school given in memory and in honor of our teachers. We would appreciate it if you would use the funds to support and honor current and future teachers, either by supporting continuing education projects or in recognition of excellence in teaching.

And tell the teachers of today that these students of a half century ago continue to treasure memories of favorite teachers and appreciate all that teachers did to set us on our (mostly) successful course.

Go Hi-Liners!

Sincerely,

The Valley City High School Class of 1967
Chuck Haga, senior class president
