N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is warning residents of a new convicted sex offender residing within the city of Jamestown.

Sawyer John Suko, 24, has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, Office of the Attorney General. He currently resides at 1505 5th Ave. NE in Jamestown.

Suko was convicted in 2012 when he was 18. He was accused of bringing Apple Pucker to a neighboring campsite and gave some to a 13 year-old girl. When she was intoxicated, he had sex with her.

Suko is not wanted by police at this time. He has served his sentence imposed by the court. These notifications are distributed for public safety and not to increase fear in the community. Any attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten an offender will result in prosecution.
