N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  Post 25 improves to 12-1 in the Central Region and 16-4 overall as they beat New Rockford Post 30 in two counter games, 10-4 in seven innings and 12-2 in five innings on Tuesday night.  NR drops to 8-6 in the Central Region and 10-9 overall.

The first game was resumed in the top of the fourth inning after lightning postponed the game earlier in the year in New Rockford.  Carrington led 6-1 and would add four more runs to get the victory.  Jayden Rosenau, Alex Stusynski and Kyle Leapaldt had two hits each.  Third basemen Ben McKay had three hits for NR, all singles.

In the second game, Post 25 scored six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and won by 10-run rule.  Kyle Leapaldt would knock in Braxton Hewitt for the game winner.  Hewitt was the winning pitcher, working all five innings.  Taking the loss was Teddy Allmaras.  Jayden Rosenau had three hits including three singles, one was a two RBI single and he also scored three runs.  At the plate for New Rockford, Allmaras was 2-for-3 with two singles. 

Next up for Carrington Post 25 will be Wednesday afternoon in Tolna against Nelson County.  Pregame will start about 5:15pm on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com, and 5:30pm first pitch.
