N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 4th Annual Ride to Silence the Stigma was held on a warm Sunday afternoon and saw another successful run.

Unite to Silence the Stigma Chairperson Margo Haut reports initial numbers to be around 155 total riders who raised roughly $6,200 for their cause.

“Funds will stay local, promoting daily announcements via the radio that gives specific information that you or someone you know can use if they’re experiencing suicidal ideations,” Haut says in a release.

“We extend gratitude to all the participants in today’s ride in memory of loved ones lost to suicide and honor those who struggle with mental illness. We unite to silence the stigma with the hope to save a life.”
