N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown’s SCORE Chapter will be offering a Marketing 101 course on Thursday, July 20th for area non-profits and small business owners and entrepreneurs.

SCORE, which once stood for Service Corps of Retired Executives, is a group dedicated to growing and maintaining small businesses.

Dave Smette is a member of the Jamestown Chapter. He says the Marketing 101 course they’ll be offering will help address differing marketing questions that individuals may have when it comes to their business.

Janna Bergstedt, VP of Markeing at First Community Credit Union, and JRMC Marketing Manager Katie Ryan-Anderson will be leading the sessions. Bergstedt says they have a good number registered so far.

Smette says the work SCORE does will give businesses the opportunity to further their growth by asking individuals who have had experience in the workforce. He says this specific course will be good because the climate is always changing in marketing.

The course will be held Thursday, July 20th from 10 AM to 2:30 PM. The cost to attend is $20 and includes lunch. For more information and to register, click here.
