(NewsDakota.com) – The 2017 season came to an abrupt end for the Jamestown Post 14 legion team on Tuesday evening in Williston. Jamestown was playing Mandan in the play-in game to reach the state tournament, which starts today in Williston. The Chiefs jumped out to a 8-0 lead with a seven-run second inning and were never seriously challenged en route to a 13-2 win. 

Jamestown finishes the year at 7-20. Mandan moves on to play Fargo Post 2 today.
