N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Members of the North Dakota National Guard’s 188th Army Band will perform a summer concert at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20, at the Jamestown High School auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

The concert features Jamestown High School music students and band director, Mr. Brandon Bondley, as special guests during the 188th Army Band’s performance of the Jamestown High School song.

The mission of the 188th Army Band is to provide music throughout the full spectrum of military operations and to instill in Soldiers the will to fight and win, to foster the support of citizens, to promote national interests at home and abroad and to entertain audiences.

The band is led by Chief Warrant Officer 2 James Landman, of West Fargo, North Dakota.
